Caitlin
Caitlin Kenney is the owner and Master Fitter at The Cinnamon Tree. With 18 years of dance experience and nearly 20 years of Pointe Shoe fitting experience, she is an expert in the dance supplies field! Prior to owning The Cinnamon Tree, Caitlin was a Licensed Cosmetologist working for PR@Partners for 10 years. Caitlin makes it a priority to stay up-to-date on all the latest pointe shoes and fitting techniques. Not only does she complete all manufacturer training on the specific pointe shoes she sells, but she also completed The Pointe Shop Basic Training Program and the Progressive Pointe Method Intensive. Caitlin fits all pointe shoes with the health of the dancer’s foot of utmost importance.
Sarena
Sarena Hutzell has been working for The Cinnamon Tree since 2012. She has a Bachelors Degree in Marketing and a Minor in Dance from George Mason University. With 27 years of dance experience, Sarena has performed in Spain, Greece, and has danced professionally for multiple sports teams in Washington, DC and Baltimore, MD, and was featured in a Refinery29 documentary about pro cheerleading. She is a certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition as well. Sarena has learned all about fitting pointe shoes directly from Caitlin and prioritizes the health of the dancers foot when fitting.
